The Australian Army History Unit is responsible for developing policy and programs for the collection, conservation, interpretation and promotion of Australian Army history.
The AAHU operates 18 museums and repositories across Australia, of which AMSQ is the regional museum in South Queensland.
The ADCC was established in Jan 1916 to commemorate Australian service at Gallipoli. It continues to host the annual Brisbane Dawn Service and student ANZAC Day commemorative services. Through fundraising it provides educational resources and grants to schools and approved groups.
